$10 regular price? For a snap knife??

There are no shortage of available options for around and even less than the price for this.

This is not a good deal. To frame it as a good deal is deceptive. The OP is a Staffer. Connect some dots people.

ETA: Some options.

This is a case of you get what you pay for. I have used many snap-off knives, from Olfa, Stanley, Husky from Home Depot and many others. The cheaper ones just don't function as well. The slide mechanism isn't very smooth, the lock doesn't hold if there is any resistance while cutting, and the blades are not as sharp or durable on the cheaper ones. I would take the OX in the post over the ones you posted (I can't be sure about the Walmart one, because that link just goes to the SD home page).Yes, the $10 regular price is nonsense, but the regular price is nonsense on 99% of products sold today.

Yes we call this shillatious posting by Unslickdeals. Harbor is better ergonmically and at $2.69 $1 less. If you want there thin cheaper it is often Harbor (roght now is) 99 cent or less. For a portable unknown brand even dollar stores have cheaper

Yes, the price is too much. I use them to open a lot of boxes of canned foods in my volunteer job at the local food pantry. But this is my own inexpensive "hack" for a replacement. I went to my local Walmart and bought a vegetable peeler for $1. I stab the box tape and have it follow the line of the tape. I give them to my fellow volunteers as they are always losing their box cutters or knives. I put it in my shirt front pocket and have no worry in accidentally cutting myself or a co-worker. I can't get it on online but I usually visit my local Walmart for groceries anyway.
