Does this need any internet after it's activated? I want to get this for someone who doesn't have internet access, however if internet is needed to activate it, I can set it up for him as obviously I do have internet access.

A lot of these sites make you download their Office installer from their own site. You can't go to office.com and get a clean installer from Microsoft.

The card isn't really the catch here. The catch is what kind of key it is. A volume key can get pulled months later and you have nothing. drsarcasm's point about their own installer is the bigger tell, and nobody in this thread has said they activated one.

Why y'all thumb this guy down in every thread eludes me.

He's right.
These are grey market and you're overpaying just so Slickdeals can get a cut.

Beyond the piracy aspect Slickdeals should be ashamed of pushing posts they KNOW are overpriced just to get a cut of the proceeds.

Google " All Key Shop Office 2024 Pro"
I'm not allowed to link to it directly.
3 different retailers are below $1.

If you're going to go this route, at least don't overpay

I've used these "Grey market" volume keys on Windows, Office, etc… all have worked just fine and still work… some older ones still working years later.

If you're worried or skeptical about these keys, then be skeptical and don't buy them. And there's a chance Microsoft will deactivate them for some reason or another. I, personally have had good luck and have saved thousands of dollars.
