Community Reviews

ThermoMaven's instant read thermometer stands out as a fast, easy to read kitchen tool for checking meat and other cooking tasks. The compact body has strong magnets, a hold feature, a built in bottle opener, auto rotating screen, and AAA battery support, and it is praised for accuracy and quick readings. The lifetime warranty requires online registration, and the included battery is worth removing if it will sit unused for a while. At around $7, it is a handy low cost backup or everyday thermometer.

Thanks for posting. The code worked but man has Amazon buried the place where you enter a code. Quarter one 7 bucks. Thank you!

The code works for multiple count. Ordered 4 for a $44 discount. $30 with tax for 4 of them. Keeping one and have the others for gifts.

VGHJRWYC still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code (before tapping the Continue button).

Their whole F1 Turbo/Elite/Stealth or whatever naming line is kinda confusing, but this one is the fastest read time. The next fastest is 0.6s and it goes up to 1s
. The Stealth is slightly thinner/flatter than the Turbo. IMO, the Stealth has much better and easier-to-read bright red numbers. However, the Stealth only has an IP65 waterproof rating (second number), suitable for rain and hose cleaning, but not for full submersion. The Turbo has a waterproof rating of 7, meaning it's protected against full submersion in water at 1 meter for 30 minutes. Both have an identical dust protection rating of 6, meaning they are completely sealed against dust intrusion.

Last thing I'd trust when a few degrees matter. Buy a quality thermometer instead.

Under $7 is cheap insurance against dry chicken breasts and undercooked pork chops. Everyone should have an instant-read thermometer in their kitchen—stopping food poisoning and stop overcooking steak for $7 is a no-brainer.
Not sure why you're getting downvoted. Every cook should have one. I've been a professional chef for ~20 years, and although I don't use a thermometer for meat temps (can tell be feel), I still regularly use a thermometer cooking at home for other things.

Good deal. That said, the 0.5 second read time is definitely a lie. The best kitchen thermometer on the market, the $125 Thermoworks Thermapen One's (what the food industry and health inspectors use) main selling point is the fastest read time of one second. These Chinese manufacturers always exaggerate their numbers, though. That said, I'm sure it's more than fast enough for home use.

If you're referring to the Thermoworks Thermopen as being a quality thermometer, please tell us why you think it's so much better than this Thermomaven F1 Turbo. The F1 Turbo does some things better and has more features than the Thermopen. Such as a magnet, a hole for hanging, a bottle opener, and a hold button. The F1 Turbo can be recalibrated if it becomes unreliable. I understand you're looking for reasons to justify spending $ 100+ on a thermometer. But in this case, the YouTube shills who shamelessly promote this in exchange for free product or payment are wrong. You can get fifteen of these for what one Thermapen costs. There's simply no reason to buy a Thermapen anymore.

Having both a thermapen and this, buy this. It's 98% as good for <10% the price.

I bought extras and gave them to friends. They are truly fantastic.
