These parchment liners are mainly used to cut cleanup in an air fryer while still cooking food normally. They help keep grease, crumbs, and drippings contained, make food easier to lift out, and still work well for bacon, fries, wings, chicken, burgers, sausages, and pork tenderloin. The main cautions are airflow and safety, since flat or greasy foods can cook unevenly, moisture can still get through, and empty liners can lift into the heating element and catch fire. A practical helper for messier air frying, with some care needed.

It would seem that way, wouldn't it?But Alexa on the site reports:"Customers consistently report that food cooks and crisps normally when using these liners — including bacon, fries, wings, and chicken. The paper doesn't interfere with air circulation or heat transfer.Customers specifically mention that crispy results compare well to cooking directly on the basket, making these great for getting the texture you want while keeping cleanup minimal."
Agreed and can attest to using these with no change between using them and not.

Ali xp sells these for much cheaper. You can get larger ones that hold more and fit the air fryer better. Straight from Amazon though, this is a decent price. We use these and they work very well. They don't affect the air frying in any noticeable way, and keep crumbs and grease from getting everywhere.
I wouldn't trust food contacting stuff made in China - even food itself has a bad safety record in China.

Wouldn't this contaminate the food due to its silicone layer and chemicals in the paper?I won't trust items made in China that touches my food directly, especially in high heat.
Your mistrust is misguided. You are much better off distrusting the food supply in the United States than the food supply products in china. For example, there are several different ingredients used in a lot of our processed foods which are not allowed in other countries' food supply, due to them being bad for you.

Several food additives and agricultural chemicals are legal in the U.S. under the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) "Generally Recognized as Safe" (GRAS) framework but are banned or restricted in many other countries, including China, Canada, the U.K., and the European Union:• Potassium Bromate: A flour improver and dough conditioner used to help bread rise higher and bake more evenly. It is linked to cancer risks and has been banned in China, Canada, the U.K., Brazil, and the EU.• Ractopamine: A feed additive and beta-agonist used to promote leanness in hogs, cattle, and turkeys. It is banned or heavily restricted in over 160 countries, including China, Russia, and all EU member states, due to cardiovascular and behavioral concerns.• Brominated Vegetable Oil (BVO): An emulsifier previously used in citrus-flavored sodas (though formally moved toward a U.S. federal ban in 2024). It is banned in the EU, Japan, and over 100 other countries because of potential thyroid and neurological impacts.• Azodicarbonamide (ADA): A dough conditioner and bleaching agent used in commercial baked goods. It is banned in Australia, the UK, and the EU due to respiratory and asthma-related concerns.• BHA (Butylated Hydroxyanisole) and BHT (Butylated Hydroxytoluene): Synthetic antioxidants used as preservatives in cereals, snacks, and oils to prevent spoilage. They are restricted or banned in parts of the EU, Japan, and the U.K. over suspected carcinogenic effects.• rBST / rBGH (recombinant Bovine Somatotropin/Growth Hormone): A synthetic hormone injected into dairy cows to increase milk production. It is banned in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and the EU due to animal health and welfare issues.

The one drawback I've had with these are greasy/wet foods.. the liquid can't drain.

Easy enough to fix, just poke a bunch of holes with a plastic butter knife (my basket is non-stick, so don't want to damage the surface.

Also had some that have holes, like from a paper holepunch, already... those work great.

I find that they work well in my airfryer. BTW, I keep about 10 small and smooth stones in a little plastic box, which I often place around the perimeter of the basket. That way when 'the wind blows' the paper stays in place.

The entire purpose of the air fryer basket is that air circulate around the food, these completely block the air. You're creating trash to make your device work worse.
Punch some big holes and you will fine /s

This is also quite misguided, as these regulations exist if someone is there to enforce them.

While I'm not saying the US has the most robust FDA, it's actually severally under funded these days, restaurants in China are notorious for for using cheaper quality items to save money months after opening. You're talking about the same place that found water in place of gasoline in military equipment because the contractor was trying to retain a higher profit. Businesses operating within communist government are kind of known for cutting corners.
