Target Circle 360 is mainly valued for free same day delivery and occasional renewal promos, with some accounts showing a full free year or discounted renewal offers like $24 or $49. The app or wallet can surface the deal even without email, and eligibility appears to depend on account status, renewal timing, or canceling the current subscription. The monthly freebies are often weak and hard to redeem, and same day delivery can still add a Shipt benefit fee and tipping. It looks most useful when the renewal is free and delivery convenience matters.
Deal hunters who only renew when it is free, because the membership can be worth keeping at zero cost but not at $49.
The $49 renewal is widely described as not worth paying for, and even a $24 renewal offer was declined by some. The main value mentioned is free same-day delivery or shipping convenience, while monthly freebies and Shipt benefit fees can make the paid plan feel poor value.
The free-year offer can appear in the Target app or wallet as a pop-up, and some accounts see it only when renewal is due. It may also require canceling the current subscription, though at least one account got the free year without canceling an existing free 360 plan.
Auto-renew alone may not trigger the offer, and one account with auto-renew already off still did not get it after toggling the setting. Another account received the free year without canceling an existing free 360 subscription, so eligibility appears account-dependent.
The only renewal offer some accounts see is $49 for a year, and that price is treated as not worth it. Several shoppers said they would renew only if the offer is free.
I got it free for a year and really don't see any benefit. I've looked at the freebies when all were available one month and they will sucked. Their shipping thing is crap because they still want a tip. At least with W+ I can pick shipping and it will still be delivered from a local store most of the time with no tipping BS.
Yep, I use Walmart plus all the time, target no, it's not worth anything other than free IMO
You have to cancel your current subscription to receive the free year offer.
That's good to know. Mine is going to expire end of month. If it is free like what they offered me last year, I will renew it. Otherwise, no thank you.
FWIW, I was able to get a full free year of Target 360 without canceling my current free 360 subscription that expires this month. I signed up last week when I saw it on the app, so that offer may have expired.
I think this is highly variable. I got a free year for spending $180 over the course of a week or two. I don't think circle 360 is worth much, but it is nice for a delivery when I don't feel like going out.
Does buy merchant gift card like Airbnb gift card count towards the spending?
I've got a "Get $50 in Target Circle Rewards" when you sign up for Target Circle for $49.But I did this thing last year, and it was the most useless out of all of them IMO.
Agreed, totally useless. So many hoops and confusing interface. Plus their security is insane! Constantly wan the physical card to login? That's why I have the app, so I don't need to carry the damn card! Logins and passwords different on the app, the website, and the card with no way to change to match. Their CIO/CISO need to get canned. I despise Walmart, but Walmart+ works flawlessly. Never even use Target card or order anything online. Even in person there's at least 3 times a year I can't use my card for comical "security" reason. The way their 5% off works you gotta use the Target card, if it doesn't work I won't go in or buy anything

360 is horrible anyways. If it's free why not. Walmart is the membership that I think is worth it plus you get paramount. Walmart super fast with shipping and even same day . Includes pharmacy deliveries and paramount +
They ship faster than Amazon does. I'm sure they are taking massive losses to compete. They literally hire Uber drivers to deliver packages sometimes for a few dollar item. Don't know how they are doing it
target charges some bs shipt fee in my area so same day free delivery is not true

Yes. The offer can appear as a pop-up in the Target app wallet, and one user saw it there without receiving any email from Target.
