Target 360 is mainly valued for free same day delivery and occasional renewal promos, with some accounts seeing a full free year or a discounted $24 to $49 renewal offer in the app or wallet. The free year has also appeared without canceling an existing subscription, though eligibility seems inconsistent and may depend on account status or timing. The monthly freebies are often described as weak, and same day delivery can still carry a $3.99 Shipt benefit fee in California plus tipping. It feels most useful when the renewal is free.
Shoppers who want occasional same-day delivery, because the membership can be worthwhile when free and includes delivery convenience.
At $49 a year, it is generally not considered worth paying for; the practical value is mainly when it is free. The main benefits mentioned are same-day delivery convenience and occasional freebies, but same-day orders can still include a $3.99 Shipt benefit fee and tipping.
Reported renewal offers include $49 for a year and a lower $24 renewal offer. The free year offer appears to be the best deal, since several comments say the paid renewal is not worth it.
The free year offer can appear in the Target app or wallet as a pop-up, and it may also show when your membership is nearing expiration. Some accounts see it only after canceling or turning off auto-renew, while others received it without canceling an existing free subscription.
Yes, the offer can show up in the app even when auto-renew is still on, but some accounts only trigger it after canceling or toggling auto-renew. If you already have a free annual account, that may affect whether the offer appears.
I got it free for a year and really don't see any benefit. I've looked at the freebies when all were available one month and they will sucked. Their shipping thing is crap because they still want a tip. At least with W+ I can pick shipping and it will still be delivered from a local store most of the time with no tipping BS.
Yep, I use Walmart plus all the time, target no, it's not worth anything other than free IMO
You have to cancel your current subscription to receive the free year offer.
That's good to know. Mine is going to expire end of month. If it is free like what they offered me last year, I will renew it. Otherwise, no thank you.
FWIW, I was able to get a full free year of Target 360 without canceling my current free 360 subscription that expires this month. I signed up last week when I saw it on the app, so that offer may have expired.
I think this is highly variable. I got a free year for spending $180 over the course of a week or two. I don't think circle 360 is worth much, but it is nice for a delivery when I don't feel like going out.
Does buy merchant gift card like Airbnb gift card count towards the spending?
I've got a "Get $50 in Target Circle Rewards" when you sign up for Target Circle for $49.But I did this thing last year, and it was the most useless out of all of them IMO.
Agreed, totally useless. So many hoops and confusing interface. Plus their security is insane! Constantly wan the physical card to login? That's why I have the app, so I don't need to carry the damn card! Logins and passwords different on the app, the website, and the card with no way to change to match. Their CIO/CISO need to get canned. I despise Walmart, but Walmart+ works flawlessly. Never even use Target card or order anything online. Even in person there's at least 3 times a year I can't use my card for comical "security" reason. The way their 5% off works you gotta use the Target card, if it doesn't work I won't go in or buy anything
