This ABS Cyclone M Aqua is a budget gaming tower built around an i5 14400F and RTX 5060, with enough room for a short term setup and later upgrades. The 1TB SSD and upgrade path make it practical for holding over while GPU prices stay high, and the DDR4 memory can even help if spare DDR4 sticks are already on hand. The main drawbacks are the older DDR4 platform and the 8GB graphics memory, which feels tight for Windows 11 and newer games. The SSD is also called out as QLC, so it is a decent value if you are fine with some compromises.

Common Questions (4)

At $849, it sits close to other options: an MSI prebuilt with DDR5 and similar specs was mentioned at about $50 more, and an MSI Codex Z2 with Ryzen 5 8400F, RTX 5060, 16GB DDR5, and 1TB SSD was listed at $899. The MSI option was also noted to have a slower processor, so the better buy depends on whether DDR5 matters more than CPU speed.

It can be a solid short-term setup, especially while GPU prices stay high, but the 8GB graphics memory and 16GB system RAM may become limiting sooner. A practical upgrade path is to use it as-is for about a year, then move to a better CPU, more RAM, and a higher-memory GPU later.

Yes. It ships with 16GB DDR4 even though it uses a 14th-gen Intel i5-14400F, which is a drawback if you want a newer memory platform. The upside is that DDR4 can be useful if you already have compatible 4x16GB sticks to reuse.

The main concern raised is that it uses a QLC SSD. It can still work fine for normal use, but QLC is less desirable than TLC for heavier write workloads and long-term endurance.

Check the price again in 2026. If you're living under a rock.
