Love that the product page shows it being used on massive picture windows when it's only 17.5" wide...I'd need 3 strips to cover mine. Best used for individual sashes in single/double hung windows.
Be aware that most of these cheap tints are NOT rated for use on dual pane windows, especially very old ones or windows with a low-e coating. They absorb a lot of heat and may cause the seals between panes to fail, the glass to crack from thermal stress, and/or the low-e to underperform. Not always, but something to consider.
Talk to a residential tint company in your area if you're unsure that your windows are suitable for applying tint.

whats the purpose if it doesnt work at night? cant call it "privacy film" then
Honestly? Just because it's a lot easier to see in during day time when most people really need privacy while still being able to look out their windows. You can actually force these tints to work at night by shining a very bright light directly onto them from the outside, but most people would just pull the blinds/curtains instead.
You can, but it's kind of a waste, IMO. Look for a ceramic tint for cars. They're better at reducing heat gain to a vehicle's interior without adding reflectivity (which is illegal in most states) and a precut kit for your specific car can be found for as little as $60.
