I've heard some prefer this to the Mobapad M12 if you like more regular or full sized controllers. I have the Mobapad and indeed it is a little cramped compared to normal console controllers, though unlike stock Joycons, I can use the Mobapad for a couple hours whereas I get too much pain from the little stock Joycons that come with Switch 2. Considered getting the Nyxi option since I want bigger but my holy grail was HORI Split Pad Pro on Switch 1 and there's rumors it may release no later than summer 2027.

I don't recommend Nyxi. I bought their controller for the Switch and it failed within 3 months. when I contacted then about warranty replacement, they tell me they only warranty their products for 30 days. they refuse to do anything beyond "here's a 10% discount."
They later changed their policy but I wasted 60 bucks for their controller and case to have a pos that didn't survive 3 months. I'll never buy Nyxi again and I doubt they'll ever make it right to me.

Both these and Nyxi are very clicky clacky sounding. They work but I'd wish hori would make some.

an alternative option is to get the satisfye grip. it slips on the stock controller and is dock friendly so you never have to remove it before you dock it. I had it for the switch 1, and now, switch 2. highly recommended if you don't want a whole new set of controllers

The biggest issue with Switch controllers not feeling like full size is that they don't place the right joystick at the traditional 45 degree angle from the face buttons. The stick is too close to being under the face buttons in general. So I'm trying to avoid that discomfort above all.

That's a fair concern. I figured they did it the way they did because they want to save space. Tbh, I would still not buy from Nyxi. When I got my Switch 1 controller from them, it lasted 3 months before it started to fail to connect consistently, causing a "controller disconnected" dialogue to pop up randomly. I emailed them for help and they told me that they only warranty their products up to 30 days.
I know that after a few months of this, they finally updated to some stupid convoluted, 6 month warranty and 6 more month if you register with them clownery. I brought it up to them and they said the best they can do is give me a 10% discount on the next Nyxi product I might buy from them.
At that point, they have completely lost me as a customer. Rather than trying to fix the problem, they think that I would spend more money with them for 10% off when they don't even trust their product lasting more than 30 days.

PRo is all the normal Switch 2 JC features - mouse, HD2 rumble, NFC, plus all the other stuff like TMRs and annoying RGBs.
