cheapest actual brand name, optoma pk31 for $400 or refurb benq th575 for $465, they are both DLP and then theres projectors like epson that are 3LCD which is also good, something slightly cheaper maybe xgimi flip plus but its dimmer and made for portability
otherwise if you want something cheap just go on ebay and look up like "vankyo projector" and they're around ~$50 like the v700w, while it is a crappy one, its I guess at the top of the crap list and they go for $200+
