I had to contact them to get my prepaid card when I signed up for the Black Friday deal. The connection is great though, I've never had an outage. There is also a 5 year price guarantee which is nice.

Did you go to the T-Mobile promotions site and register for it? They don't send it to you automatically, you do have to register. I received mine within about six or seven weeks.

Yes, I registered and they did not send it automatically. They have a history of doing this.

I'm about to dump my T-Mobile internet and go back to FIOS. They like to jump the web server around between four states (MD, VA, DE, and PA), and some of those are atrocious. Speed can be awesome (1.2Gb) to horrific (5-7Mb). Pings range from 10-15 to 100-200ms. It started out great last year, but it's really started to be highly variable in the last month or two.

Tried this before and it was terrible. Varied greatly throughout the day. It was during the very early rollout though. I wanted to try it again when the $25/month was offered but my earlier experience stopped me. If they ever offered it again I'd probably give it a try but not at this price.

I've gotten it twice already. Now on my 3rd year. Each year, to become a new customer with Xfinity, I sign up for 5g TMobile. I'm not a TMobile cell phone customer.

This year, I end paying about $140 for 3 months of internet, get a $200 gift card. After 3 months, I sign up with Infinity and get their discounted home internet rate and sign up for 1 year of free cell phone service.

I accidentally didn't do this step until it was like 3 months later, in which I called CS for assistance. They had me do the proper steps and told me to call back so they could help escalate it. After doing so, I was able to get a $200 credit to my account instead of a gift card, which works for me.

I guess YMMV on the CS team.
