  • Infinite Zone Mowing & App Remote Control: Manage unlimited mowing zones with custom pathways, define no-go areas, edit your map, and monitor your remote control lawn mower anytime—all under control at your fingertips.
  • Reliable Navigation Even in the Shade: RTK Cloud delivers centimeter-level accuracy. In shaded or partially covered areas, V-SLAM–based sensor fusion with Vision AI seamlessly takes over, maintaining precise navigation.
  • Cut-to-Edge Border Cutting with Cut-to-Zero: Vision AI understands different boundary types—crossing ridable edges to minimize leftover grass, and cutting as close as possible along fixed borders where boundaries must be respected. The Cut-to-Zero offset blade trims even closer to the edge, significantly reducing the need for manual string trimming.

As far as I'm aware, some of the area limitations (1/4 acre, for instance) come from battery life limits, which makes sense to me. But if battery life limits operation to 1/4 acre per charge, why couldn't you program 6 different zones and mow one zone per day, for a total of 1.5 acres per week? But my understanding (and I'd love to be wrong, so please correct me if I am) is that some, if not all, of these mowers are further limited by software that prevents you from storing zones totaling more than an arbitrary limit, thus forcing you to buy multiple mowers for larger yards, even if the mower could otherwise manage the larger area on a "different zone each day" schedule. I've read this specifically in the case of the Segway Navimow machines. If this is true, it strikes me as something we should resist as consumers until some enlightened producer sees the opportunity to compete by selling a mower without these arbitrary, anti-consumer limitations.

Had one for about two weeks and returned it. The thing kept going into the road and neighbor's yard even after setting up the boundaries. I'm a tech guy and this thing was just too complicated.

Community Reviews

The WORX WR341 is a robot mower aimed at hands off lawn maintenance, and the strongest feedback is that it can save a lot of time while keeping grass cut frequently. It is praised for handling regular schedules well, getting close to edges, and leaving a striped finish, with only occasional string trimming still needed. The main drawbacks are the boundary wire setup, which can be a hassle or fail, and reports of boundary drift, app setup trouble, rain clippings mess, and no replaceable battery. A practical pick if you want automated mowing and can live with the setup quirks.

Common Questions (5)

  • It appears to do better on easier turf and flatter areas, but thick St. Augustine can be a problem for robot mowers in general. One owner of a different robot mower reported traction issues in thick St. Augustine, while another said the WORX cut close and performed well in their yard.

    CodeChimpjtime100androidfan44

  • Yes. It handles the main mowing, but edges along walls, fences, and similar boundaries still need a string trimmer. That makes it a time saver for the bulk of the lawn, not a full replacement for edging.

    jtime100coley_f

  • It can work well when the boundary setup is correct, but one owner reported it repeatedly driving into the road and a neighbor's yard even after setting boundaries. That makes setup and boundary reliability a key concern for buyers with open edges or complex layouts.

    erad13mumian

  • For a lawn that only costs about $200 a year to have mowed, the payback can be very slow. The value is stronger for people who want to save time or cannot push mow, since it can replace regular mowing labor.

    TPMJBDraftBuyer

  • The mower can be linked to an account, and that can make it hard to use if stolen. A security module is mentioned as the way to track the actual device, otherwise a stolen unit may be effectively unusable.

Then you gotta buy the more expensive robot to fix it and clean the clippings. I would rather just have the more expensive robot just run a weed eater tbh and clean itself instead when it's done tho
Is it a different make that cleans itself? I need one that is dog poop proof

I wonder where these will land if like robovacs on the product lifecycle you'll be able to buy a way better unit for $500 in three years which makes it tough but the value is there for many.

Mow your lawn twice a week, with a self propelled walk behind or a pushmower as long as you can. Will keep you healthy. When you can't do it anymore then get a robotic mower. Don't get lazy at an early age.

What kind of theft protection is offered for a device like this. Seems like someone could steal it and run off with it while the owner is away from home or inside not paying attention.

True words about manual labor as long as you are able.

Once you register it and link it to your account, it's impossible to get it to connect to the app it requires to set up. Think of Find My iPhone where it becomes cloud-bound to your Apple ID. This doesn't help you track it however even with the satellite. I believe there's a security module you can install that does track the actual device in case it gets stolen. If someone was to steal it though and it's connected to an account, it's paper weight.

A rogue robot with a giant spinning blade...what could possibly go wrong? 😂

...you made the right choice returning it.

I would rather get my workout in a gym with AC. Just more efficient. Time = $$$
