Can anyone with higher degree of technological understanding comment as to if this is a good laptop/good deal. My current one has windows 10, is from 2020 and is a bit dated.

Is this good for cybersecurity student and to use in their workfield once they graduate?
is the 32 RAM IPS Touch worth getting at $2,410.75?

I wouldn't recommend it, the only major difference being ram for a extra $1k and touch. If it was the Arc GPU and maybe warranty, it would be a alright deal but with the market as it is, $2400 for a non Arc i7 isn't worth it.

I would stay away from this considering the LG controversy. Just my two cents: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6...8KA&t=799s

That retail price is bonkers. 1300 is probably a fair price for this. Not a deal.

my gram, bit older, is same spec except for the CPU, it's an EVO i7-1360P.

All I can say is - it's 10x as fast as my shitty Lenovo at work which cost 7-8x if not 10x times more (mostly a lot due to the nvida GPU) and which I literally punch sometimes due to how slow it is. (do I have issues? )

my take - gram is a great product, no if's or but's

I have that same one and agreed. But, the 16gb of ram is killing me lately. So I just bought an asus zenbook s16. 1350 open box excellent at bestbuy

Where did it go? Seems to work for me, but could be a SD bug

I have this laptop, and also a Lenovo T14S gen 6 from work. Hands down, I would never recommend a Lenovo. Even the software has a ton of problems, for some reason. I keep losing audio whenever Windows does an update, and I have to reboot the Lenovo. I had to edit the registry to prevent updates from ever happening because of it. But, now, I have issues with bluetooth audio.

With the LG laptop, never had any software issues on Windows 11. Works like a champ. The screen is BIG, and the laptop is super light for its size. But, I would wait for BF. You should be able to get this laptop for $900
