Community Reviews

Infimobile's prepaid unlimited talk, text, and data plans stand out for low annual pricing and solid basic service, especially for kids or secondary lines. The network has worked well across multiple lines, with RCS messaging not counting against the MMS limit and slow speed data still usable after the allowance is used up. The main cautions are weak support and a clunky website, inflated fees that only appear at checkout, and extra hassles like paid replacement eSIMs and limited Apple Watch number sharing. A practical budget option if the setup and fine print are acceptable.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes. Checkout can add much higher-than-expected taxes and surcharges, including a Universal Service Public Purpose Programs Surcharge that was shown as $37+ per line per year in one example. The final price can still be competitive, but the fee breakdown is not obvious until checkout.

  • Yes. The activation email can be needed later for porting out, including the order number and recent call details, and saving the original QR code or LPA activation code can help if you need to reinstall the eSIM.

  • RCS messages are not limited; the cap applies to MMS only. That means regular chat-style messaging can continue normally even if MMS usage is restricted.

  • Multiple lines can work for years without issues, but Apple Watch number sharing is not supported. If you need watch integration, this plan may not fit that use case.

  • A replacement eSIM costs about $8. Getting one can also require an active eSIM for a verification text; if the line is inactive, the recovery process may involve extra identity questions.

There is no limit on RCS messages, just MMS.

I have the 5gb 1 year plan for $75 from a few months ago for my son. Has been working perfectly and the cost savings is great. No issues with service quality. It's all DIY. Support and website are sub par. If they bring that up, it would be a serious alternative to us mobile

I got the flash sale 10gb for $75 for one of my kid. Since he is still a bit young to be out and about, it's been perfect. My older one got the 15gb for $112. It's close to the monthly reset, but he has used all of his allocated data. He is now on slow speed data, and that seems to be okay. A quick look on the website didn't show me that you can still use data at a slow speed on the description. However if you look at the ones on Amazon, it tells you that it's available.

So far, I'm quite happy with it. But something to consider is that the company is only a few years old and don't expect quality customer support. It's great for kids with untethered numbers.

Have had multiple lines for multiple years. No issues. Wish I could have apple watch with the number sharing, but that's the only downside I've experienced.

JSYK: replacement eSIMs are like $8. So, if you ever encounter an issue with your phone that requires removal of the eSIMs, or incidentally lose them via a DFU restore (common troubleshooting step with network and service quality, last ditch effort for *all* issues), you have to pay for a replacement eSIM.

More importantly, ensure you have multiple 2FA methods configured, because in order to get a replacement eSIM, they send you a verification text, which the system will only allow to be requested if you have an active eSIM.

If not, you'll have to verify through some tedious questions requiring exact verbatim answers, which also happen to be prone formatting errors and/or unlikely to fit in the provided form.

Their fees are greatly exaggerated and you won't see them until the checkout page. For instance, for my locality the Universal Service Public Purpose Programs Surcharge (MTS) fee is $1.11 per line per year. Infimobile charges $37+ for that fee.

Even with the greatly inflated fees, it is still a decent price if everything works well.

switched to them recently from Red Pocket. Infimobile had pretty fast response to help me verify my port-in number. I was impressed. They had a LOT of payment security issues with my disposable credit card number, but it worked out eventually.

I've had about 10% dropped calls so far, and some issues with the internet connectivity and some apps (perhaps they don't like my VPN), but I've been able to work through it. I had Red Pocket before and no issues then.

Were you getting a 3-year plan?

Must be where you live. Mine were only $12.18 for the 3-year plan.

Yes it was a 3 year plan. And the state and locality publish the fees. $1.11 per line per year.

Can't you just save the QR code or LPA activation code when they sent you the esim originally?

PSA : If you ever need to port out later, make sure save the email they sent to activate your account. Among the things they asked to let you port out is the order # in there and most recent calls you make on the line and few more personal info
