This is a decent deal! I wish this deal was available 40 days ago when I needed an SDS hammer. I paid $109 for the DeWalt SDS hammer and this deal with a charger and 4 Ah max output battery for $209 is a decent retail price advertised as a weekend deal. You can't go wrong with the RIDGID warranty and RIDGID brand.
If you don't need the battery or charger, this gets down to $150 at DTO occasionally.
I bought mine at DTO on a previous deal and this thing is a beast. Need to bolt to some formed concrete walls? This puts holes in concrete like a good drill bit does in wood, and just as quickly.
SDS-plus hammer drill or hammer drill with chuck?Everyone has an opinion, but why is the SDS-plus possibly better than a more versatile chuck?
A rotary hammer is a substantially different mechanism as compared to a hammer drill.
Fact #1: the best hammer drill will deliver about 1/2 Joules of impact energy versus about 2 to 5+ Joules of impact energy from a cordless SDS-PLUS rotary hammer.
Fact #2: a rotary hammer includes the chipping or hammer-only function that a hammer drill lacks which allows you to chisel tile, break concrete and drive rods.
Fact #3: a decent 1/2" keyless chuck with SDS-PLUS adapter is about $20.

Meanwhile I have had two cordless Bauer (harbor freight) that probably drilled 10k+ holes before breaking and were $29 on sale.
For drilling holes I cannot recommend this
