Cheap hoses suck. It's the Vimes Boot Theory, it's more expensive to keep buying cheap ones every year or two.

Drop $60-70 on a 100% rubber hose from one of the tire companies. Mine is either Continental or Goodyear and still looks brand new after 7 years and 3 moves.

No clue. I assume not, didn't see any Prop 65 warnings when I got it.

Also, I trust Goodyear and Continental to manage lead contamination FAR MORE than I trust "FEVONE"

yes and no. they last long but they're very heavy. Now I need a durable light hose.

Threw my 100 footer on a nice metal, wall-mounted hose reel and have no issues. My wife is considerably smaller than me and also doesn't have any issues!

Agreed, I am so sick of this Amazon promoted garbage. Had a deal alert for hose for months now and it's all trash. My rubber Craftsman branded hose is probably 20 years old and lives mostly outside. Best hose ever.

My Goodyear rubber hose has lasted me almost 20 years, and half of that time has been spent being blasted by direct sunlight for several hours a day...
Rubber hoses do not become sticky under time or heat, it was that about hoses like in this deal?

Awesome can you share a link to it?
Pretty much every rubber hose I have looked at has lead! Shoot, even the outside of the hose on this deal clearly contains it as only the inner tube is highlighted as lead free.
