Im in the market for a pitcher of this style…but the review comments are concerning. Lots of people say these are thin and not durable.

I like tht they are glass and square-bottomed, but thinness is very bad.

The durability of the glass handle is a concern 🤔

You could also use half gallon glass milk bottles for only a couple dollars over regular milk cost. But it only holds 64oz vs 68oz here.
I only suggest it as an alternative because if one breaks you can easily get another that looks exactly the same and if you need new caps you know where to get another.

I have a more "normal" pitcher at around 64oz and yea the handle is also pretty thin. When it's even half full I often use two hands. I don't trust it. I wouldn't buy these after that but also 11.3 is kinda tall.

it looks like it would snap off quick especially from a light bump. i got this instead. more volume at 90oz, about 3/4 of a gallon. it's cone shaped, with a thick bottom for great stability. i bought 3 about 2 years ago. the handle is very thick and feels sturdy.

I've been looking for something like this for months, but all the ones on Amazon look thin and cheap, like they'll break fast. I have a glass pitcher/jug with a thick handle and bottom from years ago that no one makes anymore. Does anyone know where to find something like this that's more sturdy and durable than what Amazon offers? Hoping to put both cool and warm water on it.

Edit: thanks to the last poster but I'm looking for one with a lid (and not plastic)..

All the ones on Amazon all have the same review, ridiculously thin glass. Buy elsewhere.
