Just an fyi, boost makes it almost impossible if you need to port out. Something to be aware of.

Literally posted out 3 days ago, no issues at all going to the total wireless plan. Not sure why you would post FUD like that....

You'll have to elaborate on "almost impossible" because this hasn't been my experience at all. Did you get a bad representative or what? I've hopped around from Boost - Mint - US mobile a few times in the last few years, and had no issues porting out anywhere. Lyca mobile was the worst for me to port out (took several calls) but that was almost a decade ago I'm sure things are different now.

I've ported out from Boost 3 times in the last 2 years and had no issues. As of 3 months ago they transfer you to the "loyalty department" which gives you your account number and "number transfer pin" that's only valid for 4 days (not the same as your regular account pin). They also asked for my phone's last 6 IMEI and verification code they text. Maybe that's annoying/impossible for some but I actually prefer that kind of authentication/security. They'll try to offer you deals but I'm blunt (but polite) with them that if they can match/beat another carrier's offer, I'll stay, which I did. This process has been the same for 2-4 years now.

This "unlimited" is only the first 30gb which is smallest data of the so called unlimiteds. Don't think it comes with any Hotspot usage either

Att network and heavily depriortized. If a heavy data user, ok it's attractive, but Att here in N Cal has many weak spots compared to Mint/T-Mo prepaid or any of the Verizon mvno's like TF, Total, Straighttalk.

I tried to port it out to TMobile from Boost. It took several calls and getting reps from both carriers on the line to successfully port out. I did not have to go through all the hoops when porting from Visible or US Mobile.

Perhaps this can be a caveat with Boost, that if you aren't desensitized to sales pitches nor assertive you may have a rough time.

But even today, I just got off the phone for my got my account number (I'm porting out cheaply/temporarily to port back in to claim this offer) and he asked me something like "Do you have a port-in representative helping you that we can get in touch with or are you doing this process yourself?" I answered myself. That was it. Very friendly dude. 12 minute call including the wait to talk to someone + transfer. Maybe I just have a no-nonsense tone on the phone lol

Another reason I like this offer is if on the off chance a great phone deal pops up around black friday/xmas I'm not locked into 6 months and can go wherever. Thanks to the commenters for mentioning the no hotspot and 30gb cap, added to OP!

Ported out from boost a few years ago. No issues. They did use to have great retention offers.
