If you want to step up a little, they also have the 14" M5 Max w/ 64GB RAM and 2TB SSD for 3999.99 (1100 off) - glossy display only at this price.

Shame most of these aren't available in Silver.

Wow. I paid $2,429 for this config, with 1TB instead of 2TB, last March.

This is the first time I've seen them offer the nano display option. When did they start that?

Damn. 35% higher from m4 lineup pricing. I am certainly not making that much more from last year. Hell I am not making 35% more for the last 5 years combined.

$2949 for 1TB a few weeks ago & $3150 was the price for 2TB version. So considering those prices, meh

What are people gonna do with a 3k MacBook if they are just gonna loose their jobs to AI??

You do realize there was life before LLM's? One day you'll look back and be embarrassed you spent so much money so you could do some stupid AI stuff locally.

Picked up 14" M5 Pro w/ 48GB RAM and 1TB SSD for 2499.99. Just "simple" agentic vibe coding was pushing on my 14" M3 Pro 18GB RAM. Was hitting 22GB swap. This gives me 6 more CPUs (don't use GPUs since I'm not actually building any LLMs) and some room to grow (more Chrome tabs!!!). You can always expand your SSD by moving data onto an external drive or to a cloud storage, but RAM you are stuck with your current config.
