Like to know thoughts on this vs Kobalt/Husky brand for keeping in a vehicle trunk etc.

I've had this set for three or four years now and I would recommend it. Haven't had any issues thru numerous uses including rebuilding the front end of a salvaged car.

The slightly smaller 242 piece set is on sale at Lowes for $99 through the end of the year.

I have the 230pc version (same box) in my truck for the past few years. This is a much better built box and great tools. I like the Kobalt tools over the Husky but not the box. The Husky is not appealing in form factor or tools plus the all black is hard to read sizes to my elder millennial eye.
