Great game. Played the Switch 2 upgrade recently. Think Fire Emblem x Animal Crossing with a hint of Genshin.

How much Animal Crossing is in it's gameplay loop? Will I spent most time farming or will the RPG parts be more prevalent? Picked up Sw2 version on Target clearance, was going to give to a friend who loves sim games, but the setting in this is up my alley

Isn't this version pointless since switch 2 edition exists?

Switch 2 upgrade is $10 and Switch 2 physical is $40 so about $15 in savings.

Paid $20 for this. Could purchase now and return previously purchased item but that's too much work to save $5 bucks. (Especially in my current/last few years state of being

this game has less active farming than the previous entries of this series. you get villagers you can assign to the jobs (including farming and monster care) so you don't have to do that much if you don't want to. the story isn't great from what i've heard but it's not the worst either. i personally don't mind so far and was having fun when i played. i think the bonds with the characters are important though.
