The HiLIFE 700W portable garment steamer is a compact wrinkle remover that works well for coats, jackets, suits, shirts, bed sheets, and curtains. It is handy for fabrics that feel risky to iron, and it can freshen clothes after travel or a car ride. The promo code appears tied to the Ink Black color and sometimes requires selecting the HiLIFE Direct listing or reapplying the code. Linen and heavy cotton still need an iron for a crisp finish, and there are reports of leaking hot water.

Common Questions (4)

  • The code appears to apply only to the Ink Black color. If the code fails on other colors, switching to Ink Black and, in some cases, the HiLIFE Direct listing can make it work.

  • It works well for coats, jackets, suits, shirts, bed sheets, and curtains, especially when you want to avoid ironing uncertain fabrics. Larger pieces may need a few refills, and it relaxes wrinkles rather than making linen look crisp and pressed.

  • The code can still apply after an error message if you back out and re-enter the checkout flow, and in the Amazon app you may need to tap the arrow in the promo box to apply it. One working code reported was QBGCT49D.

  • Some units reportedly leak hot water, and a replacement can leak as well. That makes it a risky buy if you want a steamer with reliable build quality.

This so good for coats, jackets, suits or any material that you're not sure ironing. Takes few refills on larger peaces, but does the job. I even use it on bed sheets and curtains.

The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase. Only good on certain colors?

It does seem to only work on Ink Black. (though Amazon also sometimes erroneously displays that message)

I used to keep one of these in my office at work with a little bottle of distilled water. It was great for keeping shirts from looking wrinkled after riding in a car or something.

would this take wrinkles out of a linen shirt that I don't feel like ironing, for example?

It worked for me, price was 29.99 but the code was 20 bucks. When you add it to your basket and use the code and it gives you an error message, left top on your browser click back, and then forward to move you back, that applied my code lol.

I doubt it, even though I haven't tried this particular product. I have another that was supposedly the best at the time, but with linen and heavy cotton materials take out the wrinkles a bit, but it won't look crisp.

My personal experience has found better results by throwing them in the dryer with a damp towel for 15 minutes than these devices.

Save your money. My wife bought similar, and it sucks. It's pretty much just boiling the water and using the steam. Since it's just using gravity alone, it lacks the power to get out wrinkles efficiently. Got a Rowenta hand held steamer, night and day difference. Plus, it heats up within 30 sec.

You've got this thing working harder than my full-size iron.

blackstarinc has it right on linen. Steam relaxes the wrinkles but it won't look pressed, the only thing that gets our linen stuff crisp is an iron on high while it's still a little damp from the wash. Also the code is only taking on Ink Black, so pick that color before you enter it.
