This so good for coats, jackets, suits or any material that you're not sure ironing. Takes few refills on larger peaces, but does the job. I even use it on bed sheets and curtains.

The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase. Only good on certain colors?

It does seem to only work on Ink Black. (though Amazon also sometimes erroneously displays that message)

I used to keep one of these in my office at work with a little bottle of distilled water. It was great for keeping shirts from looking wrinkled after riding in a car or something.

would this take wrinkles out of a linen shirt that I don't feel like ironing, for example?

It worked for me, price was 29.99 but the code was 20 bucks. When you add it to your basket and use the code and it gives you an error message, left top on your browser click back, and then forward to move you back, that applied my code lol.

I doubt it, even though I haven't tried this particular product. I have another that was supposedly the best at the time, but with linen and heavy cotton materials take out the wrinkles a bit, but it won't look crisp.

My personal experience has found better results by throwing them in the dryer with a damp towel for 15 minutes than these devices.
