Have been using this card for about 6 months and it's been solid. This is quite a bit less than I paid and well worth it.

Edit: Same price at B&H https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...t_pci.html

This kept dropping connection every few hours then reconnecting.

Everything else in the chain worked as did a different NIC replacement.

You should do an RMA. TPLink replaced a switch for me a couple of years ago, with little hassle. My card has been solid.

Same for me, tried the 2.6 version of the card on two separate machines, and constantly dropped and re-added, even after forcing PCI Gen 3 in BIOS as suggested. I returned it.

$15 Intel x540 works in Win11. Used it for 3 years, never has problems. x710 is newer model, about $30

Where do you get those that cheap? Serious question.

Also what do you use for a switch/hub?

You can find one in ebay between $15 and $20. I am using a 6x2.5gb+2x10gb switch. It is about $40 to $50 in Amazon.
