Didn't hook me like the original tipping point but still some interesting things to think about. Only issue i remember is the constant portion where he would ask the all but rhetorical question, then say you guessed it, then the answer. (Assuming the audiobook is a word for word translation from the text)

He's a not very brave counterfactual man as were so many from his era. Recently admitted he didn't believe in the men in dresses either, just stayed quiet about it.

he recently did an interview on "lethality" of assault rifles vs guns for which HIS version of lethality is how many guns kill vs ar's - kind of a statistical societal death count. Whereas most interpret the term "lethality" to mean the survivability of getting shot by a tumbling bullet doing vast damage to internal organs vs a bullet that can pierce but the damage is much more reparable. This just one in another bogus inflammatory book subject (like david and goliath) that fools people into buying, and then he admits he was wrong and apologizes later. He is so so over rated!

Not to mention he and Michelle Goldberg got crushed in the Munk debate by Matt Taibbi and Douglas Murray. Gladwell wouldn't even pronounce Taibbi's name correctly despite being corrected several times. He came off dismissive and pompous and I lost whatever little respect I had left for him.
