I bought this a year ago and it worked very well with my Brompton folding bike because it's half-holding design ensures that it doesn't interfere with the folding mechanism. Also very easy to attach and detach the phone with a side lever, and I have no problem with it on bumpy roads

FYI: These kind of mounts will destroy the autofocus and/or OIS mechanism in your phone camera when used on a motorcycle.

Been using a quad lock with vibration dampener for years now with my iPhone 13, and the camera still works flawlessly.

Keep your phone on your pocket/zipped pouch. Get a cheap $30 prepay phone at Walmart then hotspot it and use that as a mp3 player/nav if needed

I have a similar design on my motorcycle (but with beefy dampener posts/shocks) and it held my phone perfectly through a crash. Without the vibration dampening your camera will get wrecked over time.

Just put your phone in your pocket. In the event of a sudden unintentional separation of bike/motorcycle and rider, having your phone thrown somewhere you're not can be a life and death situation.
