Could you please suggest a car buffer for a beginner?
TIA

You want something dual action / random orbital. It's easy to damage the car if you're not careful with a rotary only tool.

Agreed. I've been doing detailing professionally and on the side for 20+ years and Griot's makes an excellent DA. If you want to save money Harbor Freight has great ones as well.

+1 to the advice above. If you've never polished a car, get a dual action. A rotary in beginner hands is how you burn through clear coat

I've been using my dual action for 40 years with terrific results. My shoulder and elbow move the polishing cloth in both directions for a lustrous shine.
