XGIMI has there just released their Horizon 30 Pro in a bundle for $1899.00. Includes:
  • Horizon 30 Pro
  • Floor or Ceiling Mount
  • 2x 3D glasses
  • Coupon for $500 off the upcoming Ascend screen
https://us.xgimi.com/products/horizon-30-pro

The lowest I've seen for the Horizon 20 Pro is $1599, so this is a decent price if you need the extras. There is also a Black Friday Price Guarantee. I'm not sure if that's for the bundle or bare projector.

The Horizon 30 at $1,899 would make me want to look at the Horizon 20 Max; which is "on sale" regularly for $1,999

Yeah, the bundled price really isn't attractive to me either. The only thing I would want from the bundle is the glasses. I'm on the fence, so I'll probably wait for the bare projector on a BF sale.

I was looking at a 20, but wanted to see what the 30 offered. Here are the differences I saw:
  • The 30 series has new dual iris. This should help contrast, but on XGIMI's website it says the contrast numbers on the 30 series are lower???
  • The 30 pro is brighter than the 20 pro.
  • The 30 series lens shift is 130 degrees vs 120 degrees.
  • The 30 series is 120Hz@4K vs 60Hz@4K. This might be useful for gamers.

On paper, it seems it inherited the double iris from the Titan noir series. If it's the same technology, local contrast should be significantly better
