Amazon is not being clear about their movies. Are these in 4K or not when I buy it?

FAH has this bundle for $9.99
Thank you. If you've picked up any of the recent 20% off GCs for FAH (like I have), you can essentially get this same price there.

Keep in mind though that this bundle is only in 1080p HD on Fandango I believe

Always remember, that these are borrowed movies, you don't own this, ever. Physical ownership is the way.
The legal purist argument—that "you don't own digital, you only buy a revocable license, so physical is vastly superior"—is legally accurate in theory, but practically blind in reality. It treats physical ownership as an eternal, frictionless ideal while ignoring hardware obsolescence, forced rebuy cycles, physical degradation, and daily utility.

Except in reality, I am capable of ripping my disks to drives (RAID for redundancy), backing them up in the event of disc degradation. I've had about a dozen discs go bad over the years out of over a thousand, so about a 1% failure rate, with a couple of them being hard to replace. I can also host my files so they're accessible for streaming. On top of that, physical media tends to have more special features, for those into that sort of thing, as well as better bit rates, compression, and audio options. Not to mention that a large percentage of physical purchases include digital copies, so you're getting all the benefits of the digital purchases and physical, often at a similar price point to digital only.

Digital purchases, on the other hand, can't be backed up in the event they get pulled (or edited/censored). If they get pulled, they're just gone.

Outside of Apple (who often upgrade HD to 4K at no additional cost), "forced rebuys" is the same between physical and digital. Wanna upgrade from SD to HD? It's going to cost you on both. HD to 4K. Gonna cost you as well.

They both have their plusses and minuses, but for me, the security (even with the extra expense for my backups) of physical media purchases is worth it. In the case of digital bundles like this, the price is so low that I'm happy to purchase just for the convenience (though I'd still buy physical copies of the movies I really love).

Great deal, but I already own some. Trying to decide if $8 is worth the remaining few I'd be interested in...

Great deal. A few movies I don't care for, and I already owned Airplane, but it's easily worth it just for Beverly Hills Cop and Farris Bueller's Day Off, the rest are just a bonus.

Backing up physical discs like this is technically illegal because you have to bypass the copy protection. And if you don't care about whether obtaining your backup happens in an illegal way, it's simple to download a backup copy of any digital media you have purchased at any time. So your argument doesn't really move the needle.
