I can assure you that at least some of us in Vine DO NOT rubber stamp everything with 5 star reviews. Vine is a chore when you end up getting crap, and I have fun with writing reviews stating exactly how crappy something is (and we also get stuck paying INCOME TAX on the retail price of most items, so it's not actually free).

They invited me to join Vine but I could never find a product that I thought I'd actually want/use.

The vast majority of it is junk, but with a little patience I've gotten some pretty big scores. Of course, now being fed up with how much time I was spending writing reviews and scaling back, I'm back in the lower tier where I can't get anything valued over $100. I used to be able to get 3d printer filament pretty regularly, but haven't seen that for a while.

Same issue 90% of the stuff I got seems good until I used it more. Inclusion you're helping Amazon discover what is crap and getting taxed on elevated value.
