Clean after not before. When you are done cooking turn all burners up to max for 1-3 min. It will burn up everything.

Eat….

Then..

Knock off the leftover with a stainless spatula or similar.

if need to reseason the grates - Oil with a paper towel and crank back up until the oil starts to smoke. Turn off. Let cool and done
"turn all burners up to max"

"the burners?" You use propane? Not sure why you are focusing on grill cleaning tips, when you should be focused on keeping your bloodline alive through the winter

Which America even? Half the country I have zero common ground with—less alone giving them money. "Made in America" is just a marketing ploy only benefit a very small group of people.
Bbbbbut, Destin (Smarter Everyday; great youtube channel) is a successful Engineer and Phd candidate, has a successful youtube channel, author of books, host of podcast, and now selling BBQ grill scrapers for $60. Surely he needs the money more than a minimum wage factory worker in China, because "MADE IN USA", right?

I honestly trust a well made bristle brush as much as this no name slop.Dad grilled for us kids for over a decade, whole family never had any ER visits or even known ingestion of bristles. Not saying I would use that kind of brush now but I would trust balling up some foil or just scraping it with a spatula than this crap.
I totally got a metal bristle stuck in the side of my gum about 10 years ago eating burgers I'd grilled. That was the last day I used a brush. Scary as hell, pretty painful, and I'm glad I didn't swallow it.

This has the mostly amazingly ai slop images i've ever seen.

The one where he's using he grill brush to clean off his hamburger while his identical twin and wife are both doublefisting drinks watching their kids play frisbee atop an open fire.
Lol, his wife's arm looks like it was caught in a wood chipper a few month prior to the camping

If you're looking for a scrubber that's about as "Made in America" as you can get, look at the Smarter Scrubber. Destin (Smarter Everyday; great youtube channel) set out to see what it would take to make a product solely in America using materials made in America. It was eye opening.

It's $60 shipped, but BBQLAB10 takes off 10% at jjgeorgestore
That thing is a scam. Let's say it's all "Made in America" as claimed, do you think it actually cost $30~40 to make with design and engineering amortized into the cost? Destin figured out by utilizing his audience and the "Made in America" label, he can sell things at ungodly profits

That's an insane price to clean a grill grate. It's well beyond the realm of reasonable.

The statistics say you will never ever eat a bristle. People should be far more afraid of swallowing an otter in their sleep than swallowing a grill brush bristle.

I don't know about the brush, I just use the same piece of chainmail I use for my cast iron. But the entertainment value of the ai slop promo videos for this product are worth the clicks on their own.

Also, his videos on the challenges of making anything in America with US sourced parts is an eye opener and a must watch.

I had one get stuck in my throat. Multiple surgeries, a month of horror and 25k later. Never again. It got stock to a piece of food, and buried in my throat. Almost lost my voice because of it.
