I would agree. It's a good price but 32gb would have been a great price. For a 5070 and a good processor this isn't a bad deal.

It sucks in the retail side but c'mon, how many of us have not been printing money over the past 1.5 years with our SNDK, MU, STX, and WD? Can't have it both ways.

It's probably not $250 for 2 16GB DDR5 sticks. You're looking at 1 16GB DDR5 or 2 8GB DDR5. Keep in mind that this motherboard only has 2 slots total. Not 2 free slots. To get to 32GB, it'll require you to get rid of the existing 2 pieces of 8GB and get 2 16GB.

This only has 1 stick of ram, so you don't need to buy 2x16s actually. A LOT of gaming laptops (and some desktops) in the Nvidia 50X0 era have been shipping with a single 16 Gb stick on DDR5.

Thanks op. Power supply from old computer went while damaging motherboard/cpu I think. Wish I could wait out the market for better deals but not able. Should be good for my needs.

The real tough thing is that I believe most of these 16gb kits have 2x 8gb sticks. So you kind of need to run either 2x more 8gb sticks and run both channels of ram, which I believe is super sub-optimal for performance. Or you have to buy a 2x 16gb kit.
