Title a little misleading. $649 is the price(after discount) of the 70 mile range version and is SINGLE BATTERY. The 150 mile range bike with DUAL BATTERY is $1,200 after discount.
Still a good deal. EGNWE ebikes are NOT drop-shipped junk and the batteries on both models (they use 2 different size batteries on dual model???) are massive.
I still ride my L20 2.0 I saw on Slickdeals 2-3 years ago. I feel like I've ridden it a lot, but really it's only been like ~300 miles, and still on original tires/brakes. I've charged it maybe 5 times? It's simply delightful in the city. Completely sold me on EV transportation.
One of the rare sub $1k bikes that aren't immediately destined for the trash after being unboxed. I've worked on a few of these and they're boat anchors, but they're of a quality high enough that upgrading the tires or brakes isn't throwing good money after bad. Just be aware that real world ranges for almost every ebike are overstated by 2x. This is probably a totally fine 35-40ish mile range bike in real world conditions.
