The Avata 360 is a nice drone to fly with both RC2 and with the goggles. Depending on what gear you already have, there's deals to be had on Goggles N3 and the motion controller separately. RC2 is nice for if you want to do active track or follow.

I already have the RC2 controller which is why I'm holding out for the fpv stuff

I've read mixed reviews on youtube. someone said 360 is not user friendly with goggles and quality is not as good as the avata 2

It's different drones for different purposes. This is not Avata 3. This is more like a 360 camera on a Avata frame. So it's good for 1 pass shots where you can move the camera for a reverse shots or different angles. Avata 2 is more for FPV and weaker for dynamic shots. Some people have the 360 and 2 or keep the 360 and Neo 2 for fpv.
