These pans are fantastic. We were given All-Clad stainless cookware for a wedding gift over 20 years ago. They clean easily and cook extremely well, assuming you don't cook too hot or too cold. Know how to cook what you're cooking and good stainless cleans up nicely. When stained, a little Barkeeper's Friend does the trick. Between these and our cast iron pans, we don't use any coated nonstick pans, and we cook a lot.

To me this set is pretty much the perfect start for most home cooks. A small sauce pan, a mid-size pot, a saute pan, and a frying pan covers most needs. They aren't cheap, but last.

All-Clad is great a got a couple skillets from their copper-core line and they perform fantastic. Cooking on stainless does cause you to be a better cook because you have to watch your temps more.

Wish this came with a 12-inch fry pan instead of 10-inch, which is of more limited use.

Not sure with recent inflation what the pricing would be like, but this same set went for $297 last December during a Bloomingdale's deal. Wonder if we might see that again during the holiday season?

Bought this set for my daughter's wedding present (knew we would eventually be getting it for her). Plan to add the 12-inch D3 dry pan with lid the next time packaging damaged units are available during a factory seconds sale.

Consider changes with induction cooking. Sometimes there are items at thrift stores when people change over.

I have the 10-piece set. The only difference is, the 2-QT suacepan with lid and the 8-in fry pan. Glancing at All-Clad site, I see that the 12-in fry pan is showing in the 13-piece set or higher piece-count set.

Remember, this set does have the 3-QT sautepan. I use that when my 10-in fry pan isn't big enough. Just a thought. If you do want the 12-in fry pan, All-Clad has factory seconds. You may also get lucky as Marshalls and TJMaxx.

Inflation has been insane. I feel like I'm working minimum wage and counting my pennies all over again. Anyways, as a reference, my 10-piece set had an MSRP of $599 or $699 at Macy's 10-15 years ago. I was able to stack coupons and cashbacks on the sale price. The final cost to me was about $250. My goal was 50% off. I was happy.

Macy's has this set at $599 with a sale price of $399. It looks like Amazon's bot is doing its magic and matching the price. Is there any Macy's coupon or discount code out there? Macy's has a bonus stick vaccum. Something to think about.

Bonus Offer With Purchase
$24.99 Black & Decker PowerSeries Flip 3-in-1 Corded Stick Vacuum available with a Macys.com purchase! One bonus per order while supplies last. Offer ends October 25th, 2026.

I got my set from macy's about 5 years ago for $300, and have seen it consistently go on sale for that same price during the holidays.

Just me, but I would rather have a 10" lid + 11" lid + 8" lid, than 2x 11" lids and a 10" lid.

Not a bad deal though for the set though; cheaper than https://homeandcooksales.com/

The lid for the saute pan fits the 10" fry pan perfectly. There's 1" of flare on the frying pan.

This set has historically gone on sale for $300, with the occasional slick deal (coupons and cash back) bringing it as low as $230
...but perhaps inflation has made that a thing of the past. If I wanted this set I would wait a few weeks to see what Black Friday brings.

And of course as always, don't buy a set unless these are the exact pieces you want and need. A set is only a deal if you need all these specific pieces.

I use my 10" the most. I cook eggs in it almost every day. It's fabulous.
