I was looking at these last night. Glad I waited until this morning to order. The silver one in this deal dropped $100. So I was able to snag a "used, like new" one for $129.99 plus tax. Thanks OP! I have wanted a counter top pizza maker for years. This one has good reviews and is recommended by palapizza dot com, whoever that is.
I have this https://tools.woot.com/offers/nin...-to-700f-6, can make 12 inch pizzas
Bighorn 14 might be an upgrade yet but wouldn't make sense, in my case at least, to get one and have two of pizza ovens
I would argue no - you can get Chefman knockoff on Amazon for $100 roughly on sale...
https://a.co/d/02iDJdVt The Gourmia is cheaper in build quality in my opinion but does fantastic.
your Bighorn has a detachable door. It is bigger, but for most people this wont be stored on a countertop. The Chefman and Gourmia are all in one contained no floating pieces that can be stored in a garage on a shelf. The Bighorn would be a no brainer for me IF the door was attached.
I have made hundreds of pizzas in the Chefman and the Gourmia ovens that I own. I haved owned 3 Chefman and 3 Gourmia. Currently have one of each left. I have sold the ovens to people when they see the efficiency of these ovens. Wish I got kickbacks. of course 6 ovens is nothing.. I do mean hundres of pizzas... I'm at least at 314 pizzas made across these ovens.

700 degrees with a good pizza dough pops the dough so much better than 500 degrees of conventional ovens (even with a pizza stone)
I have experimented over the last two years with dough with the Chefman, Gourmia, Convection Oven Electric Oven (Max 480) and a Gas oven (max 500 with/without pizza stone (metal/stone) - 700 degrees puffs the dough so well that it is light, airy but also has good chew and great crust. If you have a good oven that gets to 700 you may be able to get a stone and get good results... but these electric heat the stone really well and the top burner does well.
I've also tested with gas pizza ovens (ooni) but that was early on and I had no clue what I was doing, so I can only say that I have to revisit the gas pizza ovens to form any sort of opinion.
blackadder The Ooni is great, but it really takes a second person to watch it and monitor stone temp and adjust the flame when needed. I hope this electric one is a little more hands-off.
