I have let this subscription lapse. Price increases and what not. Does any slick gamer know what the cheapest/longest ultimate sub possible is atm? Preferably the best "sale" or loophole. Last time I maxed out I think I paid around $4 or 5 a month for 3 years of ultimate (I am only in it for the game library). Is this the best deal available generally? I could easily wait for black Friday if that is promising. As far as I understand, the method I used before is completely gone.

6 more months until I have to decide. I been skating by since the days of $30/yr xbl. $11/mo for ultimate feels like my max. Maybe if I can find a year using VPN as the kicker. VPN only works with streaming servers for now.

Yeah I misread the conversion chart and its was only 105 days, oh well I was about to expire and at least I don't have to worry about it for 3.5 months and still saved $20 over auto renewal.

I wish I could convert these to PC game pass. But if I don't have an active game pass sub (mine lapsed in June), this is still a good deal right? And how many years of Essential can I stack before converting to Ultimate?

It's 2:1 conversion so 2 years $120 + of essential turns into 1 year of gamepass ultimate.

Thanks, I downgraded to Essential this year just for Online play with friends, so this deal is worth it for me.

I didn't want to add a filler crap game that I'll never play, so I bought a copy Cat Quest for $2.93 instead.
