Community Reviews

This onn microSD Express card is aimed at Switch 2 storage, and the main appeal is that it is a rebranded PNY card sold under Walmart's onn label. The card is reported to work well in Switch 2 setups, with the 512 GB version performing normally for gaming use. The main caution is durability, since multiple cards have failed after about seven months to a little over a year. Promo codes also appear unreliable, so the deal may depend on whether the discount still applies at checkout.

  • Switch 2 owners wanting a branded Express card for game storage, because it works very well in the console and is described as rebranded hardware from a major flash maker.

  • Security camera setups needing a microSD card quickly, because it can fill that role and one buyer used it for an urgent camera need.

  • Switch 2 owners who want a 512GB card for everyday play, because it has been reported working well in the console.

  • Shoppers counting on promo codes to reduce the price, because DOUBLE10 and FAST30 can stop working.

  • Switch 2 owners who need a card to last for years, because it can fail after about a year or a little over a year.

  • Buyers depending on warranty support, because replacement help can stall at a phone number and the warranty window may pass before resolution.

Got an Onn 512 for my Switch 2 and it works very well. I think I paid around $80. If you're on the fence about this brand; don't be bc a major SD manufacturer actually makes the hardware. Onn buys and rebrands them

Electrons have consequences, and some conducted themselves poorly.
This wasn't that funny the first time you posted it, and has not increased in cleverness as you repeatedly posted on every SD card price increase thread.

My Onn 512 gb failed after like 7 months of mostly sitting idle (the switch2 is only used once a months top on average). Tried to get warranty replacement (supposedly a 1 year warranty) but Walmart couldn't help and only gave me a phone number, which I never called and forgot about until the year had passed

May or may not be worth the trouble, but if you paid by credit card, some cards extend the warranty as a card perk.

My Onn 512gb also failed. Had it a little over a year.
