This Onn 256 GB microSD Express card stands out as a cheap way to add fast storage for a Switch 2, with backward compatibility for older devices at slower UHS 1 speeds. The price looks strong versus other cards, and the same Onn line is described as working well in Switch 2 use. The main concern is reliability, since multiple cards have failed after months to a little over a year, including light use. It is a solid value if you want Express support, but long term durability is the question.
Common Questions (4)
It has worked well for some Switch 2 owners, including 512GB cards used since launch, but there are also reports of cards failing after about 4 months, 7 months, or a little over a year. If you use it for important photos or saves, a backup and warranty coverage are worth considering.
They can work, but not consistently. Some orders went through with DOUBLE10 while FAST30 failed, and several comments say both codes stopped working entirely, suggesting the promo may be account-dependent or dead for some shoppers.
It will work, but it is overkill for a security camera. A regular microSD card or a high-endurance card is a better fit because camera recording benefits more from endurance than from Express speed.
Yes. In a Switch 2 or other Express-capable device it can run at much higher speeds, while in an original Switch, phone, camera, or PC reader without Express support it still works but only at the device's supported UHS-1 speeds.

May or may not be worth the trouble, but if you paid by credit card, some cards extend the warranty as a card perk.
