Purchased one. Has been in my saved items for a while but couldn't justify paying $40+ for it. Thanks OP!

you do understand that these companies could just put standard red leds in them and advertise them as whatever? that is more than likely what they are doing.

Fact vs. Fiction: What Marketing Claims Get Wrong

• Permanent Facial Reshaping: Gua sha cannot permanently alter your bone structure, jawline, or weight. Any slimming or depuffing effect is temporary and fades within a few hours.
• Collagen Boosting & Wrinkle Eradication: There is no clinical evidence that scraping a stone across your face stimulates collagen production or erases deep wrinkles. For long-term opinions on how routines help manage facial tension or patterns, you can read user breakdowns like The Style Shaker Product Review.
• "Detoxifying" Toxins: Claims that the red marks or bruising are "toxins" leaving your body are scientifically unsupported. The marks are simply tiny broken blood vessels from mechanical friction.

The Verdict

• As a relaxing self-care ritual or temporary depuffer: It is fine, feels good, and can temporarily help fluid drain if done gently.
• As a magic cure for aging or a substitute for medical treatments: It is an expensive marketing myth. You do not need an expensive crystal or jade tool; a clean spoon or even your hands can achieve the same mild massage effect.

Full stop, these don't work, have no studies to back its effectiveness, and will not have any permanent effects for what it claims to do. Save your money.

Works well for sore muscles, doubt the extra electronics and bells and whistles in this particular one do anything though
