How does it compare to Costco?
What about to the Kirkland freezer bags, which I think may actually be better than ziplock
The Kirkland freezer bags are just as good if not better and they are 6 boxes 32 each for $15. Ziploc are this "deal" price everyday at Costco same count.
I wonder how the quality of the Great Value bags compare to the name brand? I haven't been super impressed with how thin the plastic is on the Great Value bags.
More of an FYI: Sams.com (Online Sam's Club) has the Half-Gallon Ziploc Freezer Bags for about $16. Occasionally these will go on sale and I find the half gallon size very useful a lot of times for storing food or various hobbies when the full gallon is too large. It's wider than the quart size making it the "just right" size at times. Wish Costco also sold it, but they do not.

There is a difference in a type plastic that is user. Ideally, food should not be store in plastic, but the trade off is BPA free, I researched this with an AI and it seems Ziploc has a "better/safer" type of a plastic. However, plastic is plastic and will leach chemicals.

They feel exactly the same to me. They are made by Reynolds and are the same as Hefty.
