These are absolutely excellent guitars! I have a 2420 and it's extremely well made and very comfortable to play. It's got great sound and the whole guitar has a very high quality feel. I'm not partial to a Bigsby but lots of people love them, so that's cool.

I have a 2410TG, the same guitar with a less deep body front-to-back. For the money this one is an incredible buy. I upgraded mine with a rocking bar bridge and Electromatic Black Top Filtertron pickups, but it was an amazing guitar before the modifications.
Where else can you get a full hollow body guitar of this quality at this price?

My 2410TG was made in Indonesia to Gretsch's (very) high standards. I'm not sure where the current ones are made, but I'm positive the high standards have been maintained.

Streamliner series (2xxx) was built in Indonesia since it was introduced.
Current Electromatics (5xxx) are mostly built in China. AFAIK, there are no current Gretsch models that are built in Korea. They even started to build some higher end stuff, like Gretsch LTD Broadkaster with real Bigsby and USA pickups, in China as well. 6xxx series is still made in Japan.
