The Ideatab does have 2gb of more RAM, newer updates and a bit more efficient and bigger battery so it wins there but I'm just disappointed that in 4 years, performance for the mid range Android tablet hasn't moved at all.
If you watch/listen to a lot of dialog videos it comes out super clear. Music sounds great but don't get your hopes up on low bass. Voice and dialog is where it shines as it will work as a bluetooth speaker.
The build is solid and the CPU is midrange so the interface and app response is very snappy. Good price given a lot of other brands keep raising prices because of rammageddon.
Only Caveat is low OS upgrade policy. 2 years up to Android 18 and 4 years of security updates.
Lenovo gives a 7 year OS and security updates on their highest end tablets only.

I jumped when Lenovo had the Idea Pad Pro on sale for $235.... it houses a MediaTek Dimensity 8300, which is a big upgrade to this deal.

My experience with every MediaTek CPU has been miserable. Not sure if they are getting better with these models, but I would wait for a Snapdragon deal to come back.
