Community Reviews
This DEWALT cordless brushless multi tool is being praised as a handy, versatile tool for cutting and other home projects, with the newer version called out for a few improvements over the older model. The newer design is described as having more power, better vibration absorption, brighter lighting, improved ergonomics for angled cuts, and support for both regular and star blades. The main wrinkle is pricing and model confusion, since the listing has shown both $99 and $199 and the photo appears to match the older DCS356D1 rather than the newer DCS359. It looks like a solid pick if the lower price appears at checkout.
Common Questions (3)
No, the $99 price appears to be YMMV. Some shoppers saw $99 and ordered successfully, while others still saw $199 in cart, so the deal may vary by location or account.
No. The deal page is for the DCS356D1, while the newest model is the DCS359. The pictured unit also appears to be the older head design without the extra anti-vibration features.
The newer version is reported to have more power, better vibration absorption, improved ergonomics for angled cuts, a brighter light, and support for both regular and star blades. It is also described as more comfortable for long periods of use.
