All these laptops being sold with 512gb or storage instead of 1tb. Getting a little rediculous. I understand it's cheaper but today's day and age.... Like selling with 8gb of ram.

Do you not understand the price of SSDs now? 1tb is $200 just by itself. So if 512gb is not good for you then go look somewhere else. Majority of people 512gb is fine atleast it is upgradable.
You can get a mac studio for $3000 that has soldered in 512gb SSD that you can't even upgrade.
