Note: use "Select Online Seller" and then enter your location, this should show you if any of your local dealers have a mower or can get one transferred in a few days. Otherwise the website may say it's unavailable locally, which is misleading. You can buy online then pick up locally for free. The website says "Not available online" also which is confusing, I paid for mine online after using the above method and was cutting with it that afternoon.
Stihl is currently running a promotion on many of their zero turn mowers, as well as other equipment and accessories.
The RZ 152 and the larger RZ 261 have fairly steep discounts.
Additionally, if you click the email subscription pop-up there is an additional 10% coupon, which I confirmed did apply to the zero turn mowers. Stihl also is running a 0% finance promo with a low origination fee (Usually 4-800 at most dealers). I cannot confirm if you can stack the 10% coupon on top of this, because I think the coupon is online only and you likely have to go into a dealer in person to originate the loan.
I was not able to find an RZ 261 available for pickup in my region, but I did use the 10% coupon successfully on an RZ 152 and picked my mower up same day at a local dealer. If a 261 was available, I think that would have been an even nicer deal.
I think this is an extremely solid end of season price for a zero turn, particularly the 152 series because it is a re-branded Ferris 300S with some of the following features that generally push a mower towards the 6K dollar range:
-Serviceable transmissions (Hydro-Gear 2800). These have filters and reservoirs. The 261 uses 3100 series axles, which are the first step into full commercial duty.
-Front and rear suspension
-More power (People may argue about Briggs being the only option and prefer Kawasaki, but the PXi series engine is a step up from the typical Intek you would find in this price range. I believe Briggs owns a stake in Stihl, and owns Ferris)
-Larger tires (I believe 20x10 in the rear and 11" fronts)
-Grease-able deck spindles
-10 gauge fabricated deck
You may have to browse around on the website to trigger the pop-up, and ensure you don't have any pop-up blockers active. There may be some way to trigger it by searching or just finding the sign-up link, if I locate that I will update the post.
With this being a Ferris re-brand, these should be very reliable and well performing mowers. I read about some of the initial release ones having a drive pulley problem, which was revised and fixed by the dealer in those instances.

Additionally, none of these will come with suspension - which seems overkill, but it's honestly amazing unless your yard is perfectly graded. Hope this helps!
I think the only thing I can ding the Stihl on is forcing the Briggs option and not offering a Kawasaki, but at least it isn't an Intek - and the price is more than right. I immediately did a test cut with mine and was very impressed with the low end torque for cutting, this mower is replacing a 24HP 42" Briggs Intek powered mower that I am retiring and the PXi was letting me cut twice as fast, with a way bigger deck.
