I really hope the golden days to come back : $22 for 512GB on Apr 7, 2025 -- https://slickdeals.net/f/18234763-sandisk-512gb-imagemate-pro-microsdxc-uhs-1-memory-card-with-adapter-up-to-200mb-s-sdsqxbd-512g-aw6ka-21-53

Edit : Damn people! understand the intention, I am not saying the same card was sold for $22. I just want the low price memory days to come back!

that's not an express card in your link..... similar to usb thumb drives 2.0 is 3.0. they are different in storage architecture.

This is a 512GB microSD Express card for Switch 2, and the main draw is getting the right high speed format for Nintendo's new console. Costco's $89.99 price lands below Walmart and well under other major retailers, with the 512GB Express market still sitting above older regular microSD pricing. The card is confirmed to work with Switch 2, and the speed requirements explain why compatible cards cost more. A website shipping error is also being reported, with customer service saying to try again later. A solid option if you need Switch 2 compatible storage now.

  • The deal can be priced below Walmart while still coming directly from Costco.

    Eragornsadude

  • The card is described as compatible with Switch 2 because it uses microSD Express requirements.

    redpriestownMWink

  • The comments explain that Switch 2 needs specific read and write speeds, which helps justify the Express card pricing.

    redpriestownMWink

  • The $89.99 price is framed as relatively strong versus historical Express pricing in 2025.

    falcon1ps2

  • The card is described as not working with regular microSD cards because Switch 2 requires microSD Express specifically.

    MWinkElkBit

  • The comments note that Express cards cost more than regular microSD options, which may limit value if Express compatibility is unnecessary.

    redpriestownMWink

  • Customer service reportedly treated a shipping error as a known website issue and only advised trying again later.

I'm getting a Switch 2 soon, but I don't think I'll need this day one. Worth the wait to see what happens at Black Friday?

256GB for $59 from basically all retailers, but it's been that price since the start of August.

2030 and beyond. They're going to milk this memory bottleneck crisis for years.
