Using blades like this the saw dosent bounce at all, you use the guide plate the same as any other straight blade. You can certainly tell the difference as you "rock" the blade through the cut. These are a purpose made blade (pruning), not a general use blade.
We have 2+ acres of Florida scrub. Lots of wild grape vine (grr), Brazilian Pepper and Hog Plum trees. I have beaten the living crap out of this blade in the past year managing this crap and it is still going strong.
A 4.4 rating and only 339 rates on these Tolesa blades makes me leery of them. I also noted reviews saying they are breaking at the saw connection.
As the EZARC blade is working great, I am sticking with them.
