Costco's Apple Watch Ultra 3 deal stands out for in store availability and easy price matching, with multiple warehouses showing stock even when the website says out of stock. The watch is drawing interest for its sapphire display, extra battery headroom, 5G, and satellite support. Best Buy price matching has worked through both in store and chat, including drops from $499.97 to $449.97. The main wrinkle is that stock is scattered by location, so checking the kiosk ticket or calling ahead helps. A strong in store find if you can track down inventory.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. Best Buy price matching was completed through both in-store attempts and Best Buy chat, including cases where Costco's site showed no delivery availability. The match brought the price down from $499.97 to $449.97 in one case.
Yes. Multiple Costco warehouses had units on hand even when the website showed out of stock, including California locations and Woodstock, GA. Shoppers also confirmed specific stores with 4-5 units available, so in-store stock can differ from the app or website.
Reported in-stock locations included Juneau, several California warehouses, Bradenton and Sarasota in Florida, Honolulu, Bozeman, Henderson, Ridgefield, and Mansfield, TX. One shopper also noted buying the last unit at Ridgefield, WA, and Mansfield, TX was confirmed with 4 units.
Yes. A shopper who bought it at $499.97 was able to get a price match down to $449.97, and the employee said to come back if the price drops again. That suggests post-purchase adjustment is possible when the price changes.
The Ultra 3 offers sapphire glass, extra battery headroom, 5G, and Satellite features, which can make it the better pick for durability and longer use between charges. The Series 12 is aluminum, so it may be easier to scratch than the Ultra's sapphire display.
