I think it looks fine. I am more interested in how it sounds. Plus getting a demo guitar doesn't matter as it is already aged. Are you going to be able to tell the difference?

I can't tell if it's the same, but I have a P-Bass with the clean edge around the body. It looks sharp, and feels sharp on your forearm. The bass sounds great, but it's a literal pain. I don't play it as a result and figured I might sand the regular contour myself, thinking the wood finish could look nice, but it's unpleasant to play for even short periods.

Cannot comment on the sound, although having humbucker in the neck wouldn't be the most obvious choice. Look-wise they went for that aerodyne series aesthetics (no pick guard, bound body) that a lot of people hated but left aside matching headstock that most people actually loved in aerodyne strats. Bold choices were made.
